Why We Work by Referral
How did you find your Realtor? How did you find your Dentist? Your Job? Your last vacation destination? That favorite restaurant? You can see where I’m going with this. Referring professionals when you’ve had a positive experience is how most of us get connected with great service. The days of cold connections are long over.
Early in our career Gail and I learned that our best experiences were with customers that had a common connection. They listen with an open ear and know we will be there for them. We found that we are passionately connected toward their goals, give them our priority attention, and make sure we do everything we can to insure they have a positive experience with us. In turn, when we experience that same service style from another professional we make sure to promote and refer them as many clients as we can. GREAT SERVICE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS!
Working by referral allows us to invest more time in building relationships instead of spending time on non-relational tasks like designing ads, walking door to door, cold calling folks that we don’t know, or spending time at the office waiting for someone to walk-in off the street. These are the traditional marketing systems of most Realtors.
We’ve developed a Client Appreciation Program that has evolved to include a mailed monthly item-of-value, our popular monthly digital eNewletter, our personal pop-by gifts, and a tiered client loyalty program which can range from a cup of coffee to inclusion to our annual holiday party.
